Case Study: The Chapel
Having received Instagram acclaim through their own home - an exceptionally well-appointed barn conversion, beautifully captured on their platform @oakappledecor, it comes as no surprise that Marisa and Chris’ renovation project @the_chapel_renovation would present all the trappings of a prestige property. The build features beautiful design décor, and of course, expertly chosen architectural hardware.
As well as being interior influencers and trendsetters, Marisa and Chris also find themselves in the unique position of being able to apply many of the techniques and finishes themselves. Calling upon Marisa’s design experience and Chris’ profession as a property developer and builder to ensure that the quality and integrity of the renovation project is finished to the highest standard. The same can be said of the fittings and finishes they use to complete their projects.
The utmost care has been taken to ensure that the original architectural features of The Chapel are retained. Sympathetically modernising the property and turning it from its original purpose - a place of worship, to one befitting of a contemporary home.
A selection of the finest ironmongery, supplied by Yorkshire Architectural Hardware has been applied to the doors throughout the build. All hardware has been finished in a premium Antique Brass, with the Sutton Door Lever on Rose reigning supreme as the handle of choice.
Meanwhile, the kitchen cabinetry features Traditional Cabinet Drawer Pull Handles and Victorian Oval Cabinet Knobs. Both are finished in Antique Brass, ensuring continuity and a seamless flow throughout the property.
